The service

Kaytos, LLC provides Taste, a personal design-reference library. The local app can use a model API key you supply. The hosted development preview provides account access and opt-in completed-library sync. Hosted AI processing, subscriptions, and a signed standalone public app are still being built.

You must be an adult with authority to use the information you submit. Keep control of your email account and approved devices. Never forward sign-in links or approve a device code that you did not request. Tell us promptly if an account or device is compromised.

Your clips remain yours

You retain your rights in your content. You grant Kaytos, LLC a limited right to store, copy, transmit, and process content only as needed to provide the features you choose, maintain security, and comply with law. This is not permission to publish your private library or train a general-purpose model with it.

A screenshot can contain work owned by someone else. You are responsible for the permission or other lawful basis needed to capture, upload, and use it. A generated description or recreation prompt does not transfer copyright, trademark, or other rights in the original design. Use references to learn and adapt, not to misrepresent authorship.

Use the service safely

Do not upload credentials, unlawful content, or confidential information you are not entitled to share. Do not access another person's account, bypass limits, disrupt the service, or use it to violate another person's rights. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably needed to prevent abuse or protect the service; where safe and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us.

Models and local software

Model readings, palettes, labels, search results, and generated skills can be wrong. Check the source and use your judgment. Neither a reference match nor an AI suggestion is a warranty of accuracy, accessibility, originality, or legal clearance.

In local mode, your relationship with the selected model provider is separate. Its charges and terms apply. Any published open-source code will have its own stated license; these service terms do not replace it or imply a license that has not been selected.

Price and changes

The current development preview has no checkout, automatic renewal, or paid subscription. Bringing your own key may incur charges from your model provider. Before offering paid hosting, we will state the price, allowance, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms and ask you to choose a plan. Signing in now does not authorize a future charge.

Preview features and limits can change. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical, and will not use a change to claim broader rights to existing private content without the required notice and choice.

Leaving and keeping your data

You can turn sync off and keep the local library files. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete server content. Account deletion and historical-object purging are currently operator-assisted; request removal and ask for confirmation. Keep a backup until the operator confirms what was removed. See the Privacy Policy for current retention limits.

Preview limitations

To the extent allowed by law, the development preview is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted access or fitness for a particular purpose. Maintain your own backup. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or liability that the law does not permit us to limit.

A final liability clause, governing-law and dispute provisions, and operator contact details must be reviewed before paid or public release. This draft does not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, or an invented choice of jurisdiction.
